Modou Lamin Puye is a young and determined entrepreneur who founded MLP Tech Solution in 2019 with a mission to empower young people through technology and skills training. Despite starting with limited funds, Modou’s strong hope and hard work, combined with the support of mentor Mr. Bye Malleh Wadda, helped him create opportunities for youth to learn digital skills and find jobs.
At MLP Tech Solution, Modou and his team-taught computer use, entrepreneurship, and provided services like computer repair and graphic design. Over time, they helped many young people build better futures. However, the business faced financial difficulties and limited support from the government and private sector. In 2023, MLP Tech Solution closed its doors.
Instead of giving up, Modou took these challenges as lessons. He launched a new company, NextNaa, focused on growth, investments, and future solutions. NextNaa now runs projects like TaskNaa, a simple project management tool, and NextnaaLa, an online learning platform accessible to all. The company is also exploring investments in real estate and stocks to create lasting community impact.
“Never give up. Every failure is a chance to learn and grow stronger,” Modou shared. “To all young people, believe in yourself and keep working hard. One day you will be proud of your journey.”
